Tonia Calderon (born July 12, 1987) is a Mexican-Dutch-Indonesian American painter and designer.  She is best known for her music inspired “Black&Gold” series; paintings of icons with lyrics written through hand painted images of the icons. She is well known and respected by the top musicians and producers in the music industry today. Her work is featured at the Tupac Afeni Shakur Museum in Atlanta, Georgia and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in San Francisco, California. Her work is on displayed in some of the top music recording studios in the country including Interscope, Epic, Sony and Def Jam.
